Reflection: I think that what this means is that if you continue to put effort into what you do you will be great at what ever you are doing. If you are smart but don't put much effort into what you are doing then it wont matter what you do, you are not going to accomplish what you want because you do not put effort into it. For example trying to pass a test. If one puts a lot of effort into studying, then you will pass that test while the other person who is smart and only relies on his or her abilities might not.
