“The Importance of Being Prompt”

Being prompt is very important. One of the reasons for why it is important to be on time is because it is not nice to have other people waiting for you. Also it is important to be prompt because you will not miss anything that is being said in the meeting. For example if you are early to your classes you will not miss anything that the teacher will be teaching for the day. In the other hand if you arrive late to a class you might miss some information that the teacher has said to the class. Now the teacher will have to repeat this to the whole class again so that you are able to know what information he or she just said. Another scenario could be that you enter the class and because you were not prompt you will now have to stay after class to ask the teacher for the information that you missed. You could also enter the class take a seat and ask your partner for the information that you have miss. This could cause for your partner to loose time in his learning just because you were not prompt.

  Another reason for why it is important to be ready is because; if you are not ready you will be wasting your time. Not only will you be wasting your time, but you might also be wasting other people’s time. Being prompt is also important because it shows how responsible you are. If you are prompt to a meeting it shows that you are a very responsible person. Being prompt is important because once you get a job your boss will want you to be prompt. He will want you to be prompt because he is paying you for certain hours that you work. If you do not work those hours you will not get paid. You will only get paid for what you work for. It is a skill that you will need for the rest of your life and it is important to be prompt.
