I think that this quote means that if you do goo you will be happy. For example if you help someone with there work, then you will feel proud and you will feel happy because you have helped someone. In return the person will thank you and you will also have helped made someone happy by helping them understand. Another example could be opening the door for someone. Doing so will make you look good and that will make you happy. Being known for helping others is a thing that most people would like be known for, and you should be proud for that. I also think that this quote is trying to say that if you do good then you will just naturally be happy. Just because of the fact that you did something, that should/will make you happy. You don't need to do something that requires a lot of effort in order for you to be happy, as long as you do good. If you do good you will be surrounded by happiness. Not only will you be happy, but the people around you will be happy because you are doing good. As long as you do what is good, happiness will surround you, you wont have any regrets or be worried about anything because you are doing good.
