What this quote means is that doing what is right is always the right thing to do. If you have a decision to make always do what is right. Choosing to do what is right will never bring you negative consequences this way you will not have to worry about the consequences. As long as you always do what is right, the decisions you take will only do you good. For example you have to make a decision between going out with your friends and staying home to study. The right thing to do would be to stay home and study. This way you will score good on your test and your parents will let you go out more often. The wrong thing to do is to go out with your friends. This will only bring you negative consequences. You will not score well on your test and your parents will not let you go out as often because of this.
